Privacy Policy – Green Heroes Map
How Asociación de Niños Alto Andinos handles personal information on the Green Heroes Map website and Android app.
Effective date: October 27, 2026
1. Who we are
Asociación de Niños Alto Andinos (RUC 20602100856) runs Green Heroes Map, a website and an Android app that show eco-friendly places, blog articles and community announcements in the Sacred Valley.
Address: NRO. S/N C.C. Localidad de Arín, Cusco - Calca - Calca
Contact: greenmapvalle@gmail.com
2. What information we collect
On the website
- If you send us a proposal through our form, we receive your name, your email and the project details you write.
- If you tap "My current location" on the map, your browser may ask to use your location to show where you are. We do not save it.
- Our team members have accounts to manage the content. Visitors cannot create accounts.
In the app
- The app does not ask for your location, has no accounts and no forms, and does not ask you for personal information.
3. What we do not do
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and we do not sell or rent your information. The website only remembers your language choice, and team members use a login cookie to stay signed in.
4. Why we use your information
To read and answer the proposals you send us, to show the map at your location when you ask for it, and to let our team manage the content.
5. Services we use
To run the website and the app we use Google Maps (to show the map), Supabase (to store places, articles and team accounts), Vercel (to host the website), Gmail (to receive proposals) and Unsplash (for some photos). These services may receive basic technical data, such as your IP address, when pages, maps or images load. Some of them process data on servers outside Peru. Connections are encrypted.
6. How long we keep it
Proposal emails are kept while we review the proposal and up to 12 months after we close it, then they are deleted. Only authorized members of our team can read that mailbox. Team accounts are removed when someone leaves the team.
7. Your rights and how to delete your data
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop using it. Write to greenmapvalle@gmail.com and we will answer you. We may ask you to confirm your email first.
Visitors and app users do not have accounts, so there is no account to delete; if you sent us a proposal, write to us and we will delete it.
8. Children
Green Heroes Map is not meant for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and announce important changes on the website or in the app.
