The Bee Sanctuary is a conservation project founded in 2008 in Calca to nurture healthy bee colonies and highlight pollinators as key guardians of mountain biodiversity. In addition to hive stewardship, they formulate natural honey and beeswax products and host educational field trips teaching youth about pollinator protection and poison-free ecosystems.
